| 3 ripe bananas; 1/2 teaspoon salt; 1 tablespoon sugar; 1 teaspoon lemon juice; 1 tablespoon butter; 6 slices Brennans Bread, toasted. Mash bananas, mix them with salt, sugar, lemon juice, and butter. Spread the mixture on toast, and place it in a hot oven (220 deg C.) for about 5 minutes. Serve hot with cream, if desired.
